What’s The Rave About Curl Theory? Part III(Last Segment)

The wait is over! I am back to talk about my experience at the trim station at curl theory. I have heard a lot of people talk about their dislike for getting a trim at any salon. “The always cut too much. I tell them half and inch and they take two inches.”

One thing that I have learned since the beginning of my “hair rebirth” aka big chop is that sometimes we need to let go and let the stylist do whats best for our hair. After all, you came to them! And contrary to popular belief, they actually know what they’re doing.

Anyway, as I was saying, it was time for the trim station. Firstly, if you ever decide to trim your hair and you don’t know where to start, start at a hair salon. From the last time I could recall I had never gotten my hair professionally trimmed. That was probably why I was always skeptical about getting my hair trimmed professionally. But as I said previously, they know what they are doing.

So there I was, in the chair of no return. “How did I get here?” I asked myself. Two stylist worked together to get my hair trimmed. But I was still shaking in my boots. A few snips later, and bam! Their I was looking at myself in the mirror. Is this me? Is this what I will look like for the next couple of month….. I’ll let the picture speak for itself….

Boy was I happy! I could’ve cried that day! Never in a million years would I have thought my hair was capable of hold such pattern. My curls were “poppin'” for the first time! The trim added volume and glow to my face. It made me excited for the rest of journey. And it made me relieved that I had chosen curl theory as my salon.

The growth is Real!!

So many people-young and old- want to start their journey. Weather just a journey of hair rebirth or a journey of new beginning. My advise to you is that “time waits for NOBODY.”  Go out into the world and take it by storm. Do not let fear, or being embarrassed stop you. We forget that through every mistake their is a lesson and through every downfall, their is success.

I hope that my journey inspires you to start or continue yours! Make your choice and drive on!
